United Rafting Certified Judges
The United States Rafting Association (USRA) recognizes the individuals below for successfully completing the United Rafting Federation (URF) Judge Certification program — the credential that qualifies officials to judge national and international raft racing competitions.
Certification Requirements
- Completion of the URF online judging course.
- Service as a volunteer judge at a national or international competition under the supervision of a URF Judge Assessor.
- Successful completion of the written examination.
- Completion of the USRA vetting process and approval of a Letter of Support submitted by the USRA to the URF.

Judges certified directly by the URF who currently reside in the United States.
Previously Certified Judges
Judges residing in the United States who were previously certified by the World Rafting Federation (WRF) or the International Rafting Federation (IRF) are encouraged to contact the USRA to discuss available pathways.
