The US National Cup will take place within the event structure of the Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival (UCWWF). Registration, timing, and results will be done separately from the UCWWF by USRA race officials. Rocky Mountain Whitewater Series

2010 Rocky Mountain Whitewater Series Thanks to John Anicito the Rocky Mountains (Colorado Rivers) will finally have a series of races this summer that will emulate what the Western Whitewater Championships has been doing for a few years.  This will be a point system event and will encompass a total of 5 races.  In order to stay consistent with current world races this years series will be an R-4 (4 person) series.  Next summer, 2011,  will be an R-6 series, as the Costa Rica pre-worlds will be held in October 2010 and the Worlds October 2011.  Please contact johnanicito@yahoo.com (Rocky…

Western Whitewater Championship Series 2010(WWCS-III) The WWCS began 3 seasons ago when the Oregon Rafting Team (ORT) began to take on an active role in coordinating the dates of races and festivals in the Western United States. US Women and Men Rock the World!

The US WOMEN and MEN finish in the top ten at Worlds! The Timberline Women’s and Men’s rafting teams training out of Vail Colorado http://web.me.com/dvogeler/USRT/Home.html have again provided incredible representation of the United States Rafting Association (USRA) and the good ‘ole red white and blue. Despite overcoming a variety of adverse circumstances which included a reportedly unfriendly crowd in Bosnia, a non-existent winter race schedule, and having to pay out of pocket to make the trip overseas, our ladies finished 8th, and the men finished 6th. 53 teams from 35 countries were in attendance.
